Passing on the buck

As per the ritual of this country, a national tragedy is followed by series of blame games & passing-on-the-buck statements.

IB, RAW, Navy & Coast Guard are pointing fingures at each other. Ironically all these agencies are not coming under the Home Ministry! But yet the minister concerned was fired last week.
IB & RAW are monitored by the Cabinet Committee whereas Navy & Coast Guard come under Defence Ministry. If we piece these facts together we will get amused that not only Home Minister but the Defence Minister also should take the "moral responsibility" for Mumbai attacks. If we really analyse the issue, it becomes quite clear that the percentage of responsibility that is lying on Defence Minister amounts to 75%. Yet Mr. Antony is still surviving and calling shots on his party's behalf. Shivraj Patil, the real scapegoat, has been hacked only to ease out the mounting aversion from general public towards Government.

Recent press statement given by the Coast Guard says that the intelligence agencies have not given "actionable inputs". Navy Chief also told the same. Mumbai Police Commissioner too blamed intelli agencies for not giving "actionable inputs" on recent attacks.

The history of Intelligence Bureau (IB) says that we should not trash the above statements!
Since the time Indira Gandhi used IB to conduct espionage operations on oppisition leaders, it has become a standard procedure to use IB for personal & political gains. To say the least, IB was used to map the pricing of commodities in Indian market.

These acts of politicians have made the agency to become more confused & highly abused entity. It is being told by the sources that the agency does only 20% of its time to deliver the prescribed roles & responsibilities. Rest of the chunk is dedicated to fulfill the personal agendas of babus. Now, let us ask ourselves whom should we actually blame?

TIMES NOW channel's scroll bar says "Independent agency to handle terror". It further says that this new agency should not be controlled by politicians. This demand should become the public demand.

We should raise our voices & act strongly against the misuse of constitutional institutions by corrupt politicians.

As one of Avakaaya.com members expressed, do we require such politicians (parties) who are not doing their basic jobs properly ? By repeatedly committing the same sin of voting to one or other party, should we live a sinner's life for ever ? Or should we teach a lesson to the politicians by rejecting them outrightly by mass boycotting the elections ? Post your opinions now.

The Great Indian Anger

The Great Indian anger is on its way like a tsunami wave. This is inevitable. This is necessary and this was long due.

Politicians of our country have been living unquestioned since 1947. After sixty years, they are facing the heat of the general public. No party is being spared by the public. Every political party has got loose talkers, not just one but many. Today, they have to pay the price for their deriliction of duties.

The Chief Minister of a state having highest literacy rate talks like a road side drunkard. A muslim face of a Hindutva party shouts like a lunatic. A responsibile Dy. CM of a state talks little of horrible carnage. These politicians have no sense prevailing over. They become thick skinned as people of their constituencies are electing them term-on-term.

Corruption, red tapism, scandals have become the part of politicians' daily routine. Media has a little role in bringing out these fallacies into public. But it is up to the general public to take the lead further. But, tragically, this is not happening.

The recent Mumbai carnage is setting up the tone now. People across all spheres of life are coming together. People have realised their real goal. Let us not loose this temperment. Let us keep moving ahead. Teach a suitable lesson to the politicians that पबिलिक है ये सब जान्ती है !

Our current political system is so absurd that a person like Shivraj Patil who lost in elections has been made incharge of the most important & critical ministry. How can this happen ? A person who could not win the trust from few lakh people can win the trust of a billion ? But it had happend. Because he is close to the prevailing diety of ruling party. This means that the personal choices of handful of people are going to decide the fate of millions of this country. How sad is this !

The Govt. sets up Intelligence Bureau & spends crores of rupees in maintaining it, only to ignore its warnings.

Ministers do not have time to read the reports. Govt. officials (mostly) are engaged in fulfilling the personal agends of their ministers.

MPs and MLAs are busy in making up their investments that have gone in buying the party tickets.

Public at large is busy in reading gossips, filmi fundas, socialising and what not. In this scenario, who got the time to think about the country? No one, to be precise. (Sorry naxals, we cannot consider you seriously any more.)

Now, at least now, let us take an oath for the sake of those martyrs who laid their lives for us. Let us make a determination within us not to waste any more time on useless activities. Let us unite against the corrupt political system and raise above all odds.

General elections are at the corner. But to whom do we vote ?

For such politician who terms a martyr's father as irresponsible? Who snubs the brave father that "even a dog would not have visited their house" !

To such a politician who redicules the angry protesters !

To such a politician who talks loose of a carnage?

To such a politician who visits the terror struck site with his filmi son & director to “assess” the damage?

To such politician who lost his election yet could become union home minister by coming from the back door?

To such political party which cannot survive without Gandhi tag wagging its popularity?

To such political party who become Hindutva before election & then praise Jinnah after that !

To such political parties who call themselves as secular champions and yet make a secular writer to run for her life !

Do we need to elect such an ineffective Govt. which cannot hung a terrorist, proven of his guilty in attacking the democratic heart of India ?

Enough! Enough is enough!

Let us make ourselves fools by allowing fools and lunatics and short sighted people to rule us. Let us not give the chance to the political clans to bring their beloved ones on to the dais from back doors.

Let us boycott the upcoming general elections.

We do not require jokers, baffoons, goondas & boot-lickers to rule. Let us demand for a apolitical president who can run the Nation with the help of committed officials.

Dicide. Dedicate. Demand & Dictate.

If you are in agreement with our argument, please spread the word through your channels (Blogs, Websites, Forums, Communities etc.). Let us become more responsible in a country which is lacking responsible leadership.
